Located in Pottsville, Arkansas, Tri-State Truss Co. is Central Arkansas' quality and service leader in the manufacturing of engineered roof and floor trusses. Tri-State Truss Co. was founded in Atkins, Arkansas in 1994 and purchased by Rickey Freeman in 1996. Rickey continues to lead the company with experience and integrity.

In 2004, Gator Joist, LLC became a part of the Tri-State family. Gator Joist, LLC is a leading manufacturer of trimmable open web floor joists. In 2006, Tri-State Truss Co. and Gator Joist, LLC moved from Atkins to their current 7 acre location in Pottsville to make room for future expansion.

In April 2017, Tri-State Truss Co. added a new office and manufacturing building to accommodate the needs of the growing company. Tri-State Truss Co. and Gator Joist, LLC now has 36,000 square feet of manufacturing space to design and build the highest quality engineered roof and floor trusses available.

On Thursday, April 5th, 2018, Tri-State Truss Co, Inc and Gator Joist, LLC celebrated the one-year anniversary of the grand opening of the new Office & Administration/Manufacturing Building. The Russellville Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting and presented a plaque to commemorate the expansion.

The new 12,000 sf building houses the offices of Tri-State and Gator Joist's
administration personnel, including: billing, truss design, & job estimating. The manufacturing side of the building houses a state-of-the-art computerized component saw that allows for precise cutting and also decreases the amount of time required to produce truss components for assembly.
